The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) New York Office has partnered with Thai jewellery designer SARRAN to unveil his stunning Fall/Winter 2026 collection, ‘The Ambassador,’ at New York Fashion Week. The collection, presented from February 11 to 16, showcases an exceptional blend of cultural heritage and modern elegance, drawing inspiration from Thailand’s majestic past and its timeless craftsmanship.

This New York debut follows SARRAN’s prominent involvement in the world premiere of The White Lotus Season 3, where his custom-designed ‘Light of Lotus No.001’ piece was worn by Thailand’s Ambassador, Lalisa ‘Lisa’ Manobal. This prestigious event set the stage for SARRAN’s continuing mission to fuse contemporary design with Thai culture, bringing his vision to global attention.

Inspired by the Chao Phraya River, the collection evokes images of Thailand’s natural beauty and deep cultural heritage. ‘The Ambassador’ takes its cues from the historic travels of Siamese ambassadors during the prosperous Ayutthaya era, a period known for its diplomacy and mutual respect. The motifs of the collection—featuring the Dok Rak (crown flower), Mali (jasmine), and Pood-Sorn (cape jasmine) flowers—are designed to reflect the river’s serene, shimmering reflections. These iconic Thai symbols are transformed into striking, art-to-wear jewellery, combining past inspirations with modern sensibilities.

At the heart of SARRAN’s jewellery lies a deep narrative. Each piece is more than mere ornamentation—it embodies a story of Thailand’s royal history, celebrating the intricate craftsmanship that defined the Ayutthaya kingdom. The patterns echo the latticework of jasmine garlands, once painstakingly hand-strung in the royal courts. Additionally, the ceremonial needle used by palace maidens to weave the Rak blossoms, a symbol of love and grace, is subtly incorporated into the designs, serving as a powerful reference to Thailand’s rich artistic legacy.

The aesthetic of the collection also extends beyond jewellery. Mr. Sarran Youkongdee, the designer behind the collection, reimagined traditional Asian ceremonial robes, presenting them on the runway at New York Fashion Week. The result is a seamless narrative blending past and present, a visual dialogue that speaks to both heritage and cosmopolitan sophistication. The intricate details and elegance of the jewellery are mirrored in the runway wardrobe, where each piece tells a story of grace, tradition, and cultural pride, yet with a distinctly modern flair.

SARRAN’s 2026 Grand Collection is currently on display in New York City at 3NY (448 Broome Street) through April 2026, before being exclusively released at SARRAN Studio in River City Bangkok, Thailand, starting April 1. The collection’s debut marks a significant milestone for SARRAN as a designer, further solidifying his place in the global fashion and jewellery industry.

“We are proud to support SARRAN as it debuts its Fall/Winter 2026 collection at New York Fashion Week, a presentation that builds on the brand’s recent custom jewellery creation unveiled at The White Lotus Season 3 world premiere: Light of Lotus No.001 for Lisa,” said Ms. Chompu Marusachot, Director of the TAT New York Office. “Through this collaboration, we are able to spotlight Thailand’s creative voice on a global stage. By linking fashion, culture, and storytelling, it invites audiences to experience the richness of Thai heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design that continues to inspire travellers and shape conversations around fashion, identity, and creativity.”

With ‘The Ambassador,’ SARRAN continues to break new ground, honoring Thailand’s cultural heritage while celebrating its contemporary luxury. The collection not only highlights his extraordinary talent but also invites the world to explore the beauty and artistry of Thailand, making it an essential part of the international fashion and design conversation.

This collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand serves as a reminder of the profound connection between craftsmanship and culture, weaving Thailand’s rich history into every piece of jewellery. As SARRAN’s work resonates on the global stage, it opens new doors for a deeper appreciation of Thai artistry and heritage, all while making an elegant statement in modern luxury.
